The project to renovate the delivery room was started with the aim of creating an operating room within the delivery area for urgent cesarean deliveries. It also aims to establish a dedicated outpatient clinic to improve the management of patients arriving in the OB/GYN emergency room.

In August, outpatient cardiology clinics and day hospitals were reactivated as an alternative to hospitalization. The electrophysiology room was also reactivated. These services are intended to care for patients with heart failure, with atrial fibrillation and electrical cardioversion signals, as well as for patients who require a pacemaker replacement. The team consists of a cardiologist and specialized nursing staff.

Rehabilitation

In June, outpatient and day rehabilitation hospital activities were reactivated, providing an alternative to hospitalization. Specialists in this field include a physiotherapist, therapist and nurses.

Scheduled surgical activity

Since July, elective surgical activity has been increased. In addition to giving space for specialties such as general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, breast surgery sessions and urology. The actions taken adhere to the recovery plan for the second half of 2021.
