LG Unveils 2024 OLED TV Lineup with New G4 and C4 Models
LG has recently announced the pricing for its highly anticipated OLED TV lineup for 2024, featuring the G4 and C4 models set to be available in March. The C4 series, the more budget-friendly option, will start at $1,500 for the 42-inch model.
The G4 model is being touted as the brightest OLED TV on the market for 2024, offering improved color compared to its predecessor, the G3. On the other hand, the C4 is said to be slightly brighter than the C3, which was highly regarded as one of the best high-end TVs currently available.
Prices for the 2024 models are expected to be a few hundred dollars higher than the 2023 versions, with the 97-inch G4 model priced at $25,000. However, LG has mentioned that prices are likely to decrease as the year progresses, with the lowest prices anticipated in the fall of 2024.
The G4 marks the return of the 97-inch option, a feature that hasn’t been available since the G2 model. CNET has already previewed the C4 and G4 models at CES 2024 and will be conducting further tests in their lab to compare them with other high-end OLED TVs, such as those from Samsung.
In the meantime, the C3 continues to be recommended as the best high-end TV overall until the new models are released.
