Samsung Electronics has recently announced that Galaxy AI features will now be available on more Galaxy devices through the new One UI 6.1 update. The update is set to roll out for Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series by the end of March.
The new update will utilize a hybrid approach combining on-device and cloud-based AI to enhance the mobile AI experience for users. President TM Roh has stated that the goal is to make AI more accessible and empower users in their daily tasks.
Some of the key features included in the update are communication enhancements such as adjusting message tones and translations in 13 languages. The Live Translate feature will also provide voice and text translations for phone calls, making communication easier for users.
In terms of productivity, Circle to Search with Google and Note Assist features have been improved to help users organize and summarize their notes effectively. Creativity tools have also been introduced to encourage users to explore their creative potential with Generative Edit and Edit Suggestion features.
Customizing Galaxy devices has also been made easier with AI-generated wallpapers, allowing users to personalize their devices according to their preferences.
