Walmart Now Selling the M1 MacBook Air for $699 [Updated]

Best Buy has started selling the M1 MacBook Air for only $649, undercutting Walmart’s price of $699. This move comes after Walmart and Apple announced a partnership to sell the M1 MacBook Air for the first time.

While Walmart has historically sold Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad, this is the first time they are offering Macs directly. The M1 MacBook Air is now available online and in select Walmart stores for $699.

Julie Barber, executive vice president of merchandising at Walmart, emphasized the company’s mission to provide quality products at affordable prices. The introduction of the M3 MacBook Air by Apple last week has resulted in a drop in the price of the M2 MacBook Air and the discontinuation of the M1 MacBook Air.

The $699 price point for the M1 MacBook Air at Walmart is appealing to customers, especially since the device is in brand new condition. The laptop is now available on Walmart’s website and will soon be in select stores.
