More than 300 students from European and non-European countries have arrived in Siena for international exchange programs and are participating in the Welcome Week organized by the university. Many mobile students are also expected for the second semester. Young people come mainly from Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Turkey. These days, through various initiatives, they are provided with all the necessary information for the period of study in Siena in this first semester: Italian course, study plans, exams, university and DSU services, including accommodation, canteens, culture and sports. On Monday, the students were received in the lecture hall by the President of the University, Francesco Fratti, with the delegate for international relations, Luca Versicelli. “With the beginning of the lessons, you will also be in the classroom with the university students and this is an important signal – said the rector -. The program abroad is not just studying, but exchange and socializing. Your Siena experience you will find everything you expect.”
