A unique and historic pay-per-view double head invades the Mohegan Sun Hotel in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Saturday as world champ Charlo twins headlines the separate main events on the same night.
In the first major event, Jermal Charlo showed why he was one of the best middleweight boxers on the planet in beating Sergey Derevyanchenko to win the unanimous decision to retain the WBC title. The twins’ older brother looked flimsy with his counter and surprising in his defense as he escaped several swipes back from Derevyanchenko, who had now lost in his three attempts at a title with 160 pounds.
Now, the younger brother, Germil, will be looking to complete the sweep when he faces Jason Rosario in a welterweight unite match in Main Event Two. Charlie regained his WBC belt from Tony Harrison by knockout last December after Harrison stunned many by beating Charlie in 2018. Rosario scores his stunning victory when he ousted Julian Williams in January.
CBS Sports will be with you throughout their unique pay-per-view setup with live coverage, updates and scores below.
