A man was arrested in Las Vegas on Saturday after climbing onto the wing of an Alaska Airlines plane that was scheduled to leave McCarran International Airport.
In a video posted on social media, a man can be seen walking on the wing of the plane on Saturday afternoon around 1:30 pm local time.
The man, who has not yet been recognized, appears to have been without his socks and shoes while trying to climb the vertical wing of a Boeing 737.
Police officers are seen on the ground and then on the wing of the plane trying to reach the man who suddenly slips down the wing and crashes hard on the tarmac, as the officers quickly approach.

Twitter user Irene Evans captured the horrific incident on social media.
Justin McFaiden also tweeted: “My grandfather was on a flight from Las Vegas and he just sent me this picture of a man who got onto the wing of the plane.”

It is believed that the man who has not been identified may suffer from mental illness, although he may also be infected.
CNN The pilots of an Alaska Airlines flight to Portland reportedly informed the control tower of the man approaching their plane before he got to the car.
At some point, the man decided to lie on the wing of the plane
Before he jumped on the plane, the man reportedly jumped into a nearby perimeter fence
The man was reportedly suffering from either a mental illness or some kind of disability
As police officers were on their way to him, he moved towards the vertical wing of the plane
Police told CNN that the man was taken to a medical facility after being remanded in custody.
“At about 2 pm PST, Alaska Airlines Flight 1367 from Las Vegas to Portland was preparing to take off when the pilot noticed an advance toward the plane,” Alaska Airlines said in a statement. Kiro 7.
The pilots informed the tower. Law enforcement authorities were sent and managed to arrest the individual. Our guests and employees are safe as we work with law enforcement. The plane returned to the gate for a full inspection.
After the accident, the plane was forced to return to its gate for a full inspection, resulting in a delay of four hours and 18 minutes.

After falling on the tarmac, the man was arrested and taken to a medical facility for evaluation
