    A celebrity chef from Syracuse wins the UK's Best Pasta Award

    Once again, Sicily becomes the protagonist in the gastronomic sector thanks to a chef from Syracuse, who managed to distinguish himself among the best chefs in the world of pizza and pasta in the UK, and was awarded the prestigious Best Pasta UK award.

    Antonio Aldrocio Founder and Head Chef Plant Clubwon the prize Best pasta in the UK Compete with the UK’s best pasta and pizza chefs. The chef surprised those in attendance by serving up a gluten-free vegan pasta dish: bakery with zucchini, asparagus and tarragon with Syracuse lemon, finished with fermented asparagus and toasted breadcrumbs. The panel was made up of expert judges including celebrity chef Theo Randall, chef Enzo Oliveri, chef Carmelo Carnevale and Michelle Eyre.
