    School and culture: Rome, IC Via Belforte del Chienti presents the first “Steam Festival” dedicated to painting, sports, photography, mathematics, languages ​​and music

    The first edition of the “Festival Steam” will be held from April 17 to 21 in Rome and is dedicated to the various languages ​​of painting, sports, photography, 3D technology, mathematics, robotics, languages ​​and music. The initiative, which is sponsored by the Fourth Municipality of the Municipality of Rome, is from the Comprehensive Institute (IC) Via Belforte del Chienti in Rome and will take place in the same headquarters as the IC “Steam is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics – explains Headmaster Paolo Luzzi – and refers to a method of learning Interdisciplinary course developed in the United States with the goal of bringing students of all social backgrounds closer to the mathematical and scientific disciplines.” It starts on April 17 with the first day dedicated to art, during which students will participate in drawing competitions and events that will also involve their parents. There will also be an open-air exhibition by artists from Ara, the Romanian Watercolor Society. April 18th is Music Day with music reviews, listening to classical music pieces and writing stories inspired by it (music and lyrics). In the afternoon, performances by the school orchestra will be held at 5 institutes. On April 19 it will be the turn of sports with athletics competitions, exhibitions by various sports associations, an exhibition of photos and poems “Sport: Emotions and Beauty” and the intervention of sports personalities and ANSMeS, the National Association of Stars and Palms and. collars on athletic merit. The last two days will be devoted to sciences and languages ​​through technological and robotic laboratories, 3D creative activities and theatrical performances in Italian, Spanish and French, thanks to the presence of the twin transalpine class. Festival activities can also be followed through the school’s web radio, the digital newspaper and the institute’s social media organized by the students.
