A mistake by Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco extended the half, then Michael Brantley took a three-game win with just one win. The loss accounted for 17 Minnesota in a row in postseason.
“These guys know how to fight. They know what it’s like,” said Dusty Baker, Astros manager. Via The Associated Press. “They know how to win and are proud of what they do.”
Astros now only need one win to exit the new Wild-Card series, which they can take on Wednesday afternoon.
Although a fan from Mississippi was likely on the edge of the seat during the Wild End in Minneapolis, they ended the day with an incredible payout.
We’ll see if they come back on Wednesday to let her ride.
