Esselunga does not give gifts through messages on WhatsApp
Watch out for WhatsApp scams in the name of Esselunga and Amazon
Fake messages on WhatsApp are trading with promising prizes for Esselunga and Amazon anniversaries: they are scams.
A scam linked to Esselunga’s 70th anniversary, which goes hand in hand with those related to Amazon, is creeping the net. “This is why we feel it is our duty to repeat some very simple concepts to those who always follow us,” Isilonga said in an official note, warning consumers and completely denying as of Saturday 20 March on WhatsApp. WhatsApp scam, as Esselunga and Amazon anniversaries don’t give gifts. ”
And accurate. “If you receive a WhatsApp message of this type, hurry up to contact the sender, because he signed it in the first place. In fact, when you reach the end of the path, a message is automatically sent to all the contacts in the victim’s address book.”
The user who receives the viral message related to the memory of Esselunga or Amazon is, in general, invited to access a webpage where, by answering some questions, he can receive equally interesting rewards. This, however, is apparently only, as the two brands have always denied launching initiatives of this kind. It is, in fact, an excuse for fraudsters so that unfamiliar users are invited to access the web pages where the fraud occurs.
