However, this level obviously requires a long time to maintain and apply to a full game, so it is understandable that the release period is still very far away, also considering the not-so-huge size of the development team.
On the occasion of the new lunar year, the anniversary of which is celebrated in China with many festivities, Game Science also wanted to take part in the publication of this strange animated short film in motion mode, at least from what seems to be really well made. It’s also a somewhat ironic situational video.
Obviously, the team wanted joke Precisely in the long wait that users demand, as well as in some classic computer game practices: in fact, in the video we see an anthropomorphic rabbit proudly waiting to install Black Myth: Wukong, only to then realize that it does not have the right hardware to make it work.
Going into a store, he buys a brand new graphics card and builds some sort of maxi computer to update his system, and finally manages to start the install, only to find that he still has to wait a long time before he can play. In the end, practically old, he discovers that the game is over, but now it’s 2024 and the technologies are completely different.
All this to sarcastically announce that Black Legend: Wukong will be arrivingSummer 2024, so there is still at least a year and a half to wait before being able to see it in the full version. It should be noted that it has not been announced for platforms other than PC, but it is likely that it will also be announced on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.
