Finley Wilde and Hilary Girardi won the Great Climb at Centero Roma. Extrême Skyrace crowns Del Pero and Compagnoni
Sky Running Day with a capital “S”. The performances by 330 athletes at the Grand Corsa in Centero Rome (52 kilometers highly technical with 4,800 meters of total height difference) and those by 150 athletes in the all-new Kima Extrême Skyrace (27.5 kilometers, 1,890 meters of positive altitude difference) brought down the curtain. On the events of Kima 2022.
Scottish Finlay Wild and American Hillary Gerardi as well as the Great Race on the Sentiero Roma won the first technical ISF award, the ISF’s award in the most technical section of the most technical race. Hilary Girardi after the success of 2018 and the priority over Sentiero Roma also won the women’s record in Kima belonging to Iberian Nuria Picas.
The all-new Kima Extrême Skyrace goes to Luca Del Pero and Giulia Compagnoni.
Being a biennial event, the Kima Trophy will return in the year 2024 with satellite races and with the goal of exciting and giving strong feelings to the mightiest runners in the sky.
