ROME, January 2 – Two-time Oscar-nominated American actor Jeremy Renner was seriously injured while shoveling snow over the weekend at his ranch above Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains. His condition is critical but stable, a spokesperson said. As reported by The Guardian. “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” she added. The protagonist, 51-year-old Hawkeye, was swept away in snow and taken to hospital by helicopter. The Sierra Nevada region, like other areas in the United States, has been hit by the “storm of the century” in the past week, killing at least 60 people across the country. On Dec. 13, Renner shared a photo of snow in his ranch area on Twitter, writing, “Snowfall on Lake Tahoe is no joke.” The actor has been nominated for two Academy Awards for his performances in The Hurt Locker and The Town. He is best known for portraying superhero Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, in Marvel films and for his role in the Mission: Impossible film series. (Dealing).
