- Franz Beckenbauer … formerly FIFA. He investigated in 2016 for fraud and money laundering as part of the 2006 World Cup that was held in Germany. The investigation ended in 2020 without a ruling due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. He denied any wrongdoing.
- Rafael Salguero…formerly FIFA. The Guatemalan pleaded guilty to several corruption charges in 2016 and spent three years under house arrest.
- Vitaly Mutko…formerly FIFA. Wada accused him of overseeing Russia’s state-sponsored doping programme. Banned for life from the Olympics.
- Jeff Thompson … a former member of FIFA, responsible for the presentation of the English World Cup. Not in football anymore.
- Marius Lefkaritis … is the subject of an investigation by the Sunday Times to find out whether Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund paid £27m for a plot of land for his family. The Cypriots strongly denied any wrongdoing. Still in FIFA.
- Jack Anuma… Ex-FIFA. He was accused in the British Parliament of accepting a $1.5 million bribe to vote for Qatar. The Ivorian denied the allegations. He lost his place in FIFA.
- Junji Ogura … is a retired former FIFA member. In 2015, he denied that top Japanese football officials had paid $1.5 million to South American confederations in exchange for Japan’s support for the 2002 World Cup in South Korea.
- Sens Irzek…formerly retired FIFA.
- Hani Abu Reda .. Al-Masry is still a member of FIFA.
- Amos Adamu … banned the football administration for three years for violating corruption rules, and the accusations were first brought in the Sunday Times before the vote. The Nigerian has been banned for another two years since 2017 for violating FIFA ethics.

He pleaded guilty in the United States to seven counts of conspiracy, racketeering, conspiracy to defraud computer and conspiracy to launder money.
- Eugenio Figueiredo … Vice President of CONMEBOL. Arrested as part of the 2015 investigation. The Uruguayan has been banned from football for taking bribes in connection with commercial deals for the South American Championships.
- Alfredo Hawitt, CONCACAF officer. Arrested in a Swiss investigation 2015. Banned from playing football for life.
- Harold Mayne-Nicholls … Head of Evaluation for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup. He has now been banned from football for seven years by FIFA’s Ethics Committee due to requests he made to an organization linked to the Qatar nomination team on behalf of his team members. Chilean family and athletes. The ban was reduced to three years on appeal to FIFA, and then to two years after TAS.
