KFC launches a gaming console that keeps chickens warm

KFC said in a statement on Tuesday that KFConsole is part of a partnership with appliance manufacturer Cooler Master.

“The Bargain bucket machine features the world’s first compact chicken room, which is equipped to keep its contents hot and ready for consumption during intense gaming sessions,” Added Kentucky Fried Chicken.

The chicken will be kept hot thanks to the specially designed cooling system that keeps the console appliances at a normal temperature while using the heat generated by its components to warm the chicken room.

Other specs include Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element and two Seagate® BarraCuda® 1TB SSD storage drives, according to Cooler Master website.

“This device is capable of running games of the highest specification, in addition to keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during the gaming experience … What don’t you like?” Said Mark Schiffers, head of PR and social media at KFC UK & Ireland, at the company’s press release.

“If Sony or Microsoft want any advice on how to design a chicken room for their next effort, they are welcome to contact.”
