Finally a judge from California agreed L’an agreement of $1.85 million between CD Projekt and some of its investors in connection with the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 movie. It was revealed that this amount was settled in December 2021, but District Judge Fernando M. Over the next few weeks, attorneys for the parties presented a new version of the settlement.
The lawsuit dates back to December 2020. It was filed immediately after the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, when the game’s many problems, particularly those related to the Xbox One and PS4 versions, were defined as “virtually unplayable” due to the “huge number of BugsThe suit also focused on CD Projekt’s deceptive communications about the game’s final quality.
It should be noted that the agreement has not yet received final approval, which must take place by June 1, 2023, after another request. CD project and the law firm Rosen, which is representing the investors, completed by April 28, 2023.
