Donald Trump should be “banned” from any public office “in the future”. This was supported by the House Special Committee that has been investigating the attack on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021 for a year and a half in its final report. This, the seven Democrats and two Republicans on the commission argue, is based on Article 14 of the US Constitution which states that “any person who has taken an oath to serve it may be disqualified from any public office if he is engaged in insurrection or rebellion.”

“The commission’s completely biased report — attacking the former president in a post on his social media site Truth — forgot to mention that Pelosi did not heed my recommendation to use the military in Washington. I used the words in ‘peace and in a patriotic way’ and called for consideration of the cause of the protest. This is a witch hunt. !
