Canada is the new world champion. The North American squad won the 2023 Ice Hockey World Cup Final against Germany that was held between Finland and Latvia. The closing act at the Tampere Deck Arena saw Canada get the better of, not by, Germany
The team, which is coached by coach Claude Julien, has achieved the 28th laurels in its history and is “avenging” the defeat in the final a year ago. The North Americans return to success after 2021, with their fourth title in the past eight years, separating Russia into first place in the historic Ice Hockey World Cup standings.
