Writer George RR Martin Talk about the rumors they want with his initials hidden in elden ringPointing out how stupid and meaningless it is. After all, why would he do such a thing?
Martin spoke about it in his latest blog post, which is actually dedicated to keeping readers updated on his other projects. Apparently, someone had tormented him with this story and thus decided to put an end to the speculation.
Let’s read:Oh, to put things into perspective, there’s a weird story circulating online about how I “hide” my initials in the Elden Ring because… uh… some characters have names starting with R, G, or M which I tell him” Eh? What? Really?” This is new. I’ve been writing and publishing stories since 1971 and I guess I gave character names starting with R, G, and M right away. Along with the other twenty-three letters of the alphabet. It’s hard to find names, especially since there’s so much in A Song of Ice and Fire, and I’d like to give members of the same family and their relatives common names…but really, because I would have had to hide my name in the game? My name is on the game, as one of the authors. Hey, ELDEN RING is exciting in itself, no need to invent things.“
Hopefully this clarification puts an end to this story and we can calmly go back to playing. After all, there is so much to discover at the Elden Ring.
