Ferrari Unveil what’s new Roma spider which reinterprets the Italian style of the 1950s and 1960s with a modern key. Very high performance
Ferrari describes the new Roma Spider as a 2+ car. This means that in addition to the two front passengers, it offers two temporary seats in the rear, with less space than the coupe version. The Ferrari Roma Spider was designed by Ferrari Style Centre Under the direction of Flavio Manzoni.
The design of the front end does not change from that of the Ferrari Roma. Maranello technicians mainly worked on the rear to be able to incorporate the soft top. In HD mode, the wing makes it possible to generate a vertical load of 95 kg at a speed of 250 km / h.
The chassis is derived strictly from that of the Ferrari Roma, with some modifications at the rear. Maranello adds that theoverweight compared to a coupe 84 kg (dry weight 1,556 kg). The power-to-weight ratio is 2.5 kg/hp. Weight distribution is 48% front and 52% rear.
The interiors are very much that of the Ferrari Roma. We therefore find a digital instrument panel and an 8.4-inch central display that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Among the options is a dedicated display for the front passenger on which key gear information can be displayed.
