    Australia, the Government's highest honor of Professor Udine Antonella Reem Nathalie

    Antonella Reem-Natalie, Professor of English Literature and former Director of the Department of Languages, Literatures, Communication, Education and Society (DILL) at the University of Udine, has received from the Australian Government the Honorary Member of the General Division of the Medal. Australia (AM) for its commitment to partnership relations in exchanges between Italian and Australian universities, for its many years of scholarly research and the dissemination of Australian literature and culture in Europe and the world. The Order of Australia (AM) is the highest honor awarded by the Australian Government to citizens and non-Australians. Antonella Rimm’s work and international relations with Australia lasted for more than thirty years. In her multi-year academic career, she has devoted herself to researching, promoting and teaching Australian literature, with a particular focus on indigenous Australian cultures. He has organized many conferences over the years on these topics, in which academics, writers, poets, and artists from all over the world have participated, and has published more than 150 monographs, monographs and articles.
