Just over a month after filming began, “Impeachment: American Crime Story” … TMZ learned that it was closed due to COVID-19.
Production sources with direct knowledge of TMZ say … the “firing” company halted its production this week because staff members and staff tested positive for the virus.
The exact number of cases is not clear … but we are told that they are “multiple”. We were also told that there was no return date for filming to resume.

This is interesting. We called FilmLA, the organization that monitors and facilitates filming in Los Angeles, and asked if it knew to stop the virus. They told us they had no idea… no one called them.
News of the “dismissal” closure comes on the heels of “Shameless” production going into a state of panic after it initially believed that the Coronavirus may spread. But, as we first reported, the blame was a big mistake in the lab 18 false positive tests.
