After the Disney College program was suspended At the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, And the Cancel the Fall 2020 program In January, Disney provided an update today regarding employment for the program.
The following update was released by the Disney College Program via the DisneyInterns Twitter account, explaining“Disney appreciates the return of the Disney programming. We look forward to sharing more updates as they appear.”
DCP went on to explain that they still had not recruited participants for upcoming classes and were still unsure of when they would be able to resume the internship programs division at Disney.
When the cancellation announcement was announced in Fall 2020, participants were reassured that eligibility requirements for all programs would be modified so that participants who had already been accepted could re-apply, even if they had already graduated. All program fees have also been refunded. However, despite this “modernization”, many of those whose programs have been canceled midway are still unsure of their next step as graduation approaches.
