After Germany, England has also drawn up an official list of 23 players who will take part in the 2023 World Cup adventure.

Sarina Wegman has released the list of players who will represent the Lionesses in Australia and New Zealand.
The new European champions will face in Group D against Haiti, Denmark and China.
A lot of news compared to the group that won the European Championship and finished fourth in 2019.
A surprise call-up for Esme Morgan to the Defenders List, Class of 2000 under Manchester City, will make up for Leah Williamson’s absence.
A strong decision by Wegman not to call up Steve Hutton, who missed the 2019 World Cup and whose defensive pair could have been overhauled with Millie Bright.
Captain Leah Williamson, Fran Kirby and Beth Mead all absent through injury: The three English stars were not included in the squad list for obvious reasons relating to their physical conditions.
In the attack after Ellen White’s official farewell to the national team, Nikita Paris also missed the English group. The starting spot in the offensive phase should go to Alessia Russo, but she’s been undercut by a well-formed Rachel Daly.
22 goals Daly scored in 22 matches played in the Women’s Football League this season: an almost unstoppable run.
It would be Marie Erbis’ first World Cup as a safety catch. At the press conference, Sarina Wegman did not reveal who would be the captain, leaving the question open.
Bethany England returns to the group, absent from the team names since September 2022: 14 goals for the World Series of Poker, of which the last 12 goals were scored in the many matches she played in 2023 in the Tottenham shirt.
Another big surprise is the return of Jordan Nobbs after missing the 2019 World Cup, the Tokyo Olympics and the recent European Championships in England.
These are the 23 that coach Sarina Wegman called up:
Goalkeepers: Marie Erbis, Hannah Hampton, Ellie Roebuck.
Defenders: Millie Bright, Lucy Bruns, Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Alex Greenwood, My Name Is Morgan, Lotte Woobn Moi.
Midfielders: Laura Combs, Jordan Nobbs, Ella Tone, Georgia Stanaway, Keira Walsh, Katie Zelm.
Attackers: Rachel Daly, Bethany England, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly, Alicia Russo, Lauren James, Katie Robinson.
