The Italian module of the postgraduate specialization course “Sports Law. Comparison of Italy and the United States”, which aims at the comparative study of sports law, will be held at the University of Florence from 13 to 16 March. Sport in Italy and the United States.
The course is divided into two weeks. In the first, held from January 30 to February 3, 2023, students attended six lectures at the University of Miami School of Law for approximately eight hours as part of the instruction called “Representing a Professional Athlete,” which was taught by A.J. Peter A. Carvegna.
In the second week, from 13 to 16 March 2023, participants will attend four one-on-one lessons of two hours each in the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Florence. The agreement between the University of Miami School of Law and the University of Florence states that between module one and two, each student, in pairs with an American colleague, will conduct research on one of the topics to be referred to. The results will be presented by the students during the second unit.
