The Arcade Archive houses a collection of original artefacts from the Gloucestershire town of Stroud’s arcade history.

The location you wouldn’t expect. from any point of view. You can find it in Stroud in Gloucestershire, UK, at a gallery, Edited by Alex Crowley, on which work will begin in early August this year. According to reports from the Stroud News and Journal, “Arcade ArchiveThe one we’re proposing here sits inside a second-rated mill. While the new venue already boasts over forty arcade classics, such as Donkey Kong, Bubble Bobble, and Star Wars, many more will be installed over time. But that’s not all. The upper floor of the gallery space is still occupied by the Museum of Legacy Computing, run by fellow YouTuber Neil Thomas of the channel “the cave“.
Along with electronics designer Richard Horn, who helped repair and perfect many of the Arcade Archive’s cabinets and technology, Alex and Neil founded the Retro Collective, whose goal is to preserve and promote electronics, games, and entertainment for sharing with the public.
