Neil Druckmann, co-chair of Naughty Dog and Creative Director of The Last of Us and Uncharted stated that A mysterious new project for the studio for PS5 in his Twitter bio.
As we currently know, the guys at Naughty Dog are working on the multiplayer game The Last of Us Part 2, which will be a cinematic standalone multiplayer experience. But it has been rumored for some time about another PS5-exclusive project, which according to an insider will be a brand new IP.
As you can see in the image below, in addition to his role as studio co-chair and his participation in Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us 1 & 2 as well as the HBO TV series, Druckmann also mentions in his autobiography “that game” coming in the future.
Apart from that, Druckmann has not yet shared any details regarding the new Naughty Dog project. Therefore, a new bio on Twitter can be a way like any other to provoke PlayStation players or may indicate the upcoming news in the near future, to be very optimistic.
Next month it will be held Game Awards 2021, where there will be 10 absolute, true, next-generation discoveries for the occasion. This might be an ideal stage to announce the upcoming Naughty Dog project for PS5, but as mentioned earlier, that’s a very optimistic premise.
