The ceremony will be held with attendance, but the audience will consist of the candidates and their mate (one for each candidate) and the presenters (you will find the first names here).
There are no guest masks during broadcast
As for the broadcast, it was confirmed that it would be treated like any television production or movie. The Academy will not require participants to wear the mask during the live performance, so it will be mandatory during ad breaks.
The Los Angeles audience will be limited to 170 people.
And the red carpet? There will be, but it will be greatly downsized: there will be only three photographers and the participants will only interview the selected press, which includes ABC News, KABC and E !.
The international press will include professionals from Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Brazil, Spain, Mexico and Australia.
Singing performances will be pre-recorded
Traditional performances of Oscar-nominated songs will not be shown.
