Now official, Sardinia will also adopt the Italian Post Office vaccine reservation system. This is what health advisor Mario Nido learned.
However, for the new system to function at full capacity, it will be necessary to wait: a phase is needed to support the new program with the one currently in use, a transition that should last for about a month.
The Poste system is the system recommended by Commissioner Francesco Paolo Figliuolo: it is used in different areas and allows coverage of the entire supply chain, from the reservation of the first administration to the delivery of the inoculated dose, up to the second dose which, depending on the vaccine, should be done after a certain number of days .
The Poste portal can also rely on two primary services: a help desk, which is a call center of technicians ready to solve problems for doctors and all vaccinators, and a call center for users. The region decided to join because the numbers of vaccinations and the centers where services are provided are becoming more consistent with each passing day, and Poste Italiane has already been titrated to manage these complications.
I dati – Last week, Sardinia ranked fifth in vaccination doses per 100,000 inhabitants, behind Umbria, Liguria, Marche and Molise.
Yesterday, 6,357 doses were inoculated across the island, “but there could be more – Nido explains – because the recordings continue beyond the time the hubs are closed.”
The acceleration that brings the island back up, is always fourth to last in terms of the number of vaccinated doses compared to those provided by the commissioner (82%).
