During the 2022 Game Awards tonight, a new official trailer for Final Fantasy 16. Perhaps the most caring person has already noticed, at the end of the video, there is the exact date on which it took place PS5 exclusivity period: The December 31, 2023.
Specifically, the small print at the end of the trailer for Final Fantasy 16 “Vendetta” reads: “Not available on other platforms until December 31, 2023.”
This thus confirms the six-month exclusivity period for Sony’s home console that was unveiled in November and provides a clearer picture of the story, given that exact dates have not been determined before. However, there are many details that we still don’t know.
In particular, it is not clear if Final Fantasy 16 will be able to arrive from December 31, 2023. any platform Or if a situation similar to what happened in Final Fantasy 7 Remake occurs and thus only lands on PC. As you probably know in this case, publishing is an adventure first on PS4 and PS5 and only about a year and a half later the game also arrived on PC, while all is still silent for a possible (now unlikely?) conversion of the Xbox Series X | S and one.
