On Tuesday, the Royal National Lifeboat Foundation, a not-for-profit marine rescue group, reported sending a boat to rescue a cat seen on a ledge over the Bury River in Great Yarmouth, England. Arriving at the scene, they saw the white cat, falling into the river, trying to swim in the cold water. Rescuers took the cat out of the water and wrapped it in a blanket. To keep him warm, on his way to a Great Yarmouth yacht where the crew met the Coast Guard at Gorleston, the cat was then taken to a shelter where vets examined him. The latter claimed that the cat was unharmed after the adventure, and the pet was eventually reunited with its owner.
