Antoine Henridi Skull & Bones, assistant game director/lead game designer Leave Ubisoft After 15 years of cooperation. The announcement was made by Henry himself via LinkedIn.
Henry He wrote: “Bye Ubisoft! After nearly 15 years, today was my last day. I am grateful to all the people I have met and for what they have given me professionally and personally. I hope I have given them something too. I will start a new and exciting adventure very soon!” .
It is also interesting to note the roles played by Antoine Henri as co-director of the game. In 2017 and 2018, the man devoted himself to skull bones, as responsible for the gameplay. From 2018 to 2020, he fully devoted himself to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, as Team Leader for Singapore, Chengdu and the Philippines. In 2021, he dedicated himself to DLC The Siege of Paris of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (here is the review), and finally returned to work on Skull & Bones, which over the years appears to have not made headway yet.
Henry’s farewell certainly does not bode well for Skull & Bones, which has been in development for some time and has reportedly undergone several reboots. The director did not give a specific reason for saying goodbye to Ubisoft, but it seems that he is ready for a “new adventure”.
