Another day of competition is over in Cairo, where the 2022 World Archery Championships is taking place. Let’s recap how it went, between the team and mixed team competitions.
Women’s 10m Air Pistol Team Competition
The title is for India (Narwal-Isha Singh-Varsha Singh) who beat China 16-6 in the final. Bronze to South Korea, who beat the United States 16-4. Italy is not present in the competition.
Men’s 25m Auto Pistol Team Competition
Asian platform. Gold for China (Yang Wang Liu), silver for South Korea and bronze for India. Too bad for the Azzurri in the race (Mastrovalerio-Arigi-Balella) who sold to the Indians in the bronze medal match with a score of 16-2.
Women’s 10m Compressed Air Rifle Team Competition
The confrontation between India and China, this time was decided in favor of the Indians (Sin – Nancy – Ramita) with a score of 16-2. Third place on the podium was surprising Finland, which beat Norway 17-9. Italy ranked tenth with a squad composed of Libri, Benetti and Schiavon.
Men’s 10m Compressed Air Rifle Team Competition
Here, too, India is winning the battle against China. Vidit, Panwar and Ravishankar beat the Chinese 17-11, in a competition that saw the United States take third place. Italy is not present in the competition.
Mixed team automatic pistol 25m
India, China, India and China. The team’s last game of the day shows the strength of these two teams. Gold went to India 2 (Payal Kuldeep Khatri and Ardash Singh) before China 1 (Feng and Liu) and India 1 (Tejaswan and Sameer). Italy is not in competition.
