Thanks to the active cooperation between the Deans of the University of Calabria and the University of Magna Gracia, respectively Nicola Leon and Giovabattista de Saro, it was possible to implement a project to operationalize the new master’s degree course The inter-university, implemented in Sebastiano Ando’s years, initially as Dean of the SSN College of Pharmacy, and later as Director of the Department of Pharmacy, Health Sciences and Nutrition, is now recognized by MIUR as a National Department of Medical Excellence.
Today this project is characterized by the participation of two areas of excellence in the university, one biomedical on the one hand and the other engineering – information technology – technological on the other. In this way, the efforts of the Department of Pharmacy, Health Sciences and Nutrition are rewarded, as the degree course in Medicine, Surgery and Digital Technologies will be organized, followed by the eminent teaching staff in the medical field.
