Nick Kyrgios, who just attended a show in Mexico City with Cameron Norrie and some local players, has made some statements suggesting that he will drop the row over the ATP 2022 finals in doubles, as he qualified alongside Kokinakis.

Kyrgios revealed his desire to be by his mother’s side and enjoy some free time with his girlfriend: “My idea is to stop playing until after Christmas. I want to spend more time in Australia with my family and friend,” he said. He told TheAge: “I’m going to take these summer weeks back home to prepare well for that tournament. What I’m really expecting is that I’m not going to spend more than 5 or 6 months outside Australia.”
