(ANSA) – ROME, November 25 – After Netflix with “Formula 1: Drive for Survival,” Amazon Prime Video enters the racing world through the front door. It does so with a dedicated MotoGP series which will premiere in 2022. Produced by Studio Mediapro, in collaboration with Dorna Sports, spectators will take behind the scenes of the world’s fastest MotoGP Championship.
The new series will feature eight 50-minute episodes that follow some of the sport’s biggest names, including legend Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT), eight-time World Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), who has just been crowned 2021 Champion Fabio Quartararo (The Beast) Energy Yamaha MotoGp), runner-up Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia (Team Ducati Lenovo), 2020 champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and Jack Miller (Team Ducati Lenovo), as well as team managers and key figures inside the ring. The series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in France, Italy and Spain and in more than 150 countries and territories in 2022, including the United Kingdom and the United States. (Dealing).
