DUBAI, December 6, 2021 (WAM) – Expo 2020 Dubai has seen an astonishing 5663,960 visits until December 5, since its first opening on October 1, with recent numbers backed by the UAE’s Golden Jubilee holidays and a number of great sports and music. and cultural performances.

In October and November, a total of 5,383 government leaders, including presidents, heads of state, prime ministers and ministers, honored the Expo site to speak at official events or celebrate their country’s National Day of the Exposition, with Expo hosting a total of 10,461 events. During his visit last week, French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Expo 2020 Dubai for “organizing this exhibition and making it a success”.

Proof that one day is not enough to experience all that Expo 2020 Dubai has to offer, six out of 10 visitors (57 percent) now own a season pass to Expo, with the number of repeat visitors in the first two months reaching 1.2 million.

In October and November, nearly 455,000 trips were made – using RTA transport – to and from the site using taxis, more than 600,000 trips were made with the free Expo Rider bus service and 2.2 million users entered and exited the Expo via the Dubai Metro.

The Expo 2020 virtual tour has risen to 25 million, driven by the proliferation of Live @ Expo, which allows visitors to take a customized live virtual tour across the site.
