    Australia’s SME IHS Markit services index rose in February to 57.4 from 46.6 in January (55.1 in December), returning above the 50-point threshold separating expansion from contraction just one month later.

    Australia’s SME IHS Markit services index rose in February to 57.4 from 46.6 in January (55.1 in December), returning above the 50-point threshold separating expansion from contraction just one month later. The number is also 56.4 points higher than the preliminary reading released in February. On the other hand, the SME composite index rose last month to 56.6 points from the previous 46.7 points (54.9 points in December) versus 55.9 points in the flash data.
