The list of artists who will animate Sferisterio Live, the live music festival organized by the Events Department of the Municipality of Macerata in collaboration with the Sferisterio Association, is expanding. Indeed, today is the announcement, after those given to Simply Red, the Lumineers, Massimo Ranieri, Deep Purple, Madame and David Garrett, that Robert Plant will move to the Sferisterio Theater on August 28, which he wrote with Led Zeppelin pages from Music history.

Indeed, this morning Robert Plant announced seven concerts in Italy that will take place between the end of August and the beginning of September in which he will present Saving Grace to the public with Suzi Dian. On August 28 it will be at Sferisferio in Macerata, history staged by Vincenzo Berti and Gianluca Bonanno for Ventidieci. The tour was produced and organized by D’Alessandro and Galli.
Saving Grace, the project that sees on stage Susie Diane (vocals), Ollie Jefferson (percussions), Tony Kelsey (mandolin, baritone and acoustic guitars), Robert Plant (vocals) and Matt Worley (banjo, acoustic and baritone guitars, quattro), debuted back in early 2019 with a series of surprise concerts at small venues across England, Wales and Ireland, and subsequently three dates in the UK in support of the Fairport Convention..
Intimate performances have seen the band draw from a repertoire of “music inspired by the dream-scene of Welsh marches”, songs covering Plant’s diverse tastes and influences, in particular his lifelong passion for British and American folk, spirituals and traditional blues, including a number of beloved standards and longtime favourites. by Doc Watson, Donovan, Moby Grape, and Low, among others.
